1. The interlocking CC logo
On a genuine bag, the right C overlaps the left on top and vice versa at the bottom. Fakes often misalign or shorten the C.
2. Stitching
Real Chanel has perfectly even stitching with a consistent number of stitches per quilt. Crooked or sparse stitching is suspect.
3. Hardware
The clasp is weighty, evenly plated and crisply engraved. Fakes tend to be light, with flaking plating or blurry engraving.
4. Hologram sticker & card
Match the serial on the sticker to the authenticity card. Beware mismatched numbers or wrong fonts.
5. A price too good to be true
Chanel does not discount heavily. A “genuine” Classic Flap for a few million VND is almost certainly fake.
